Batgirl responds to a distress call only to find herself in trouble! She's introduced to The Sleeper - a villain who likes to put his victims to sleep. He's testing out some new inventions - a sleep spray, sleep chloroform and a sleeping powder. He uses each one effectively - watching Batgirl fall instantly asleep on the floor. In the second segment, Batgirl has asked Wonder Woman for her assistance in capturing The Sleeper. As expected, the superheroines are brought down easily by the Sleepers tools. Finally after tormenting them with several sleep sessions, The Sleeper removes them to his permanent storage where they will await the arrival of his next victims. See also Volume #2 and #3.
