Returning home from a long day at work, Renee inadvertantly
trips over her purse on the floor and twists her ankle. Not sure if it's a
sprain or not, she decides to wait it out and see if it feels better after a
nap. Unbeknownst to her, her boyfriends ex-girlfriend has been stalking
her and has seen the whole twisted ankle incident. The ex-girlfriend
sneaks in when Renee is sleeping and plots revenge on her while she's
sleeping. She jerks Renee's sore ankle - waking Renee straight
up! Renee is helpless against the torment that Alex puts her through
- twisting and jerking the swollen ankle - stomping on it and flopping it around
when Renee tries to escape. Finally, figuring that she has injured Renee
permanently, Alex slips out. Renee makes her way to the hospital. We
see her hobble back in on crutches with her ankle tightly bandages - she makes
her way to the phone to call her boyfriend to let him know what happened.
