Batgirl returns home with a sprained ankle after a longphysical battle with Electra. Batgirl hops into the kitchen and falls tothe floor - unable to put weight on her bad ankle. She drags herself onthe floor to the couch where she sits down to take her boot off. Her ankleis severely swollen and she struggles to remove the boot. Thepain is unbearable and she passes out. When she comes to - she hops to thebedroom to change into her pajamas and slippers before heading to the kitchen toice and wrap her ankle. Unable to stand the pain, Renee decides tocall Bruce Wayne to drive her to the hospital. When she gets up to leave,she bangs her already sore ankle on the coffee-table- exacerbating the alreadymiserable situation. Next we see Renee returning home from the hospital oncrutches. Her ankle has been wrapped and double-wrapped. She grabssome ice and elevates her ankle. She also makes a call to Bruce Wayne tolet him know that she's going to be out of commission for awhile as Batgirl andhe'll have to handle the crime fighting on his own.
