Renee comes back from cheerleader practice with a sore
knee. After resting for a moment, she starts up the stairs and then turns around
only to fall on the way back down. With her Knee now severely wounded, she drags
herself to the closet and grabs a pair of crutches. She makes it to her bedroom
and after taking medicine, changes into her nightgown and calls her boyfriend on
the phone. He is totally unsympathetic and tells her to get out her dancing
shoes and practice walking or he will go to the prom with someone else. Renee
makes a vain attempt to walk in her heels and ends up on the floor again in
severe pain.
