Diamond and Renee compete against each other in
national ballroom dancing competitions. Renee comes over to borrow a pair
of shoes from Diamond and sees that Diamond is favoring her right ankle.
Diamond confesses that it's been a little tender but she's not worried about
doing bad in the competition. Renee wants to win this competition at any
cost so she hires a "hitwoman" to attack Diamond. The woman
attacks Diamond and tortures her ankle leaving it swollen and
bruised. The pain is so excruciating that Diamond passes out. When
she comes to, Diamond limps over to the phone and calls her partner asking him
to take her to the ER to have her ankle x-rayed. When Diamond returns from
the ER, she's crutching and has a tight bandage around her ankle. Not
willing to give in yet, she exits to the bedroom where she puts on her ball-gown
and high heels in anticipation for the competition that she still plans on
entering.
